on Nuclear Glass Wasteform:
Structure, Properties and Long-Term Behavior Wasteform

September 23 to 27, 2013 in the site of Pont du Gard (France)

par-20100427-162Following the first Summer School in 1997 at Méjannes-le-Clap, SumGLASS 2013 will review the state of the art and reflect on scientific issues in the following areas: the vitreous state; relationships between composition, structure and properties; long-term behavior of the glass in geological disposal conditions.

In addition to pooling knowledge, the work in each subject area will subsequently provide guidelines for internal R&D and joint programs to meet the medium- and long-term scientific and industrial objectives of developing high-performance matrices capable of being produced by reliable and robust processes.
